Stephen Rheydt is a solo artist who composes, arranges, records, and mixes all his own music, using synthesizers, PC-based sequencers and mixing equipment, in the basement of his home.

The music is best categorized by thinking of it as a spread across a number of genres, including New Age, Electronic and classic-styled, Modern Contemporary.

Stephen draws influence from such artists as Yanni, Tangerine Dream, Jean-Michelle Jarre, Mike Oldfield, Yes, Pink Floyd and even the Beatles. If the music doesn’t hit one of these artists’ styles, then it certainly has a place in between them.
